Synopsis
[Monitor] OTELMetrics=n
n is either 1 or 0. The default value is 0.
Description
When OTELMetrics is enabled (n = 1), the OpenTelemetry exporter agent automatically starts when InterSystems IRIS® data platform starts up. The exporter emits all the metric events which the /api/monitor API records to the designated OTLP/HTTP endpoint.
The exporter emits these metric events at regular intervals, as specified by OTELInterval.
Changing This Parameter
On the Monitor page of the Management Portal (System Administration > Configuration > Additional Settings > Monitor), select Enable OTel Metrics to enable this setting.
Instead of using the Management Portal, you can change OTELMetrics in the Config.MonitorOpens in a new tab class (as described in the class reference) or by editing the CPF in a text editor (as described in Editing the Active CPF).
