Configuring InterSystems IRIS During Deployment
InterSystems IRIS for Health™ provides two ways to automatically configure instances during deployment to obtain topologies such as mirrors, distributed cache clusters, and sharded clusters out of the box:
-
The InterSystems Kubernetes Operator (IKO) is a Kubernetes custom resource for deploying on Kubernetes platforms.
-
The configuration merge feature supports automated deployment by letting you vary the configurations of multiple InterSystems IRIS for Health instances deployed from the same container image or installation kit on UNIX® or Linux, including Linux cloud nodes. Configuration merge is available as a standalone feature and is also incorporated in both ICM and the IKO.
